A month ago, Orange invited a select group of bloggers to travel to California and meet with high tech companies and startups, to investigate on the current status of innovation in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Silicon Valley is regarded as the place to be in terms of innovation and technological breakthroughs, and the emergence of social media in the last 8 years has seen hundreds of startups rise from scratch, each hoping to get a piece of the global cake which Facebook and Google seem to own.
Throughout the week, our diverse team of bloggers, ranging from ambitious French entrepreneurs to the COO of an Australian word of mouth company, roamed around San Francisco and the Valley meeting with CEO’s, engineers, marketing executives to learn about the way of life in the industry, and what we should be expecting in the near future.
The Orange Blogger Bus Tour’s main goal was to share our findings with the rest of the world via articles, videos and interviews posted on the live Orange blog, and disseminated through social networks such as Twitter and Facebook. Through the infographics below, find out the key numbers regarding this trip.
