Orange is the first company to choose the Renault Twizy for work-related journeys. A hundred of these new-generation electric vehicles will be added to the fleet this year and used by workers for their city-based journeys between sites.
The aim is to play a part in reducing our environmental footprint, a key challenge of corporate responsibility. Since 2006, the group’s fleet (35,000 vehicles) has progressively been moving towards more environmentally friendly models.
Besides its ecological qualities, the Twizy has been chosen for its pleasure aspect, its design and ease of use. With a range between 50 and 100km depending on how it’s driven, it can be re-charged in just 3.5 hours. Available for now in black, white, red and grey, it will soon be customizable with a series of stickers and accessories. With its fun and trendy appearance and innovative concept, Renault can expect to appeal to a public who are keen on personalization and wish to stand out. The marketing has already begun and more than 1,000 orders have already been taken. We can expect to see many Renault Twizys starting to appear in our towns!
Remember we already had a chance to test the Twizy at the leWeb11 conference: see our video here
