Orange among world’s most socially devoted brands on Facebook

A recent study has seen the Orange Poland fan page on Facebook ranked 5th in a worldwide ranking of the most “socially devoted” companies.

The study, conducted by Socialbakers, focused on the efficiency of global commercial brands in their communication via Facebook pages or profiles. Today, the battle for visibility and customer care has shifted onto social networks, with most major players reaching out to their audience via platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. And from what this study reveals, Orange Poland has been successful in nurturing their relationship with the fans online.

As a social media analytics platform operating in 75 countries, Socialbakers provides global industry benchmarking and measurement of efficiency in social media. The evaluation carried out focused on four areas: number of fans, number of questions posted on a wall, response time and percentage of posts that get answered by the company. “In the last year, there has been a shift away from brands simply seeking to collect the highest number of fans”, Socialbakers CEO Jan Rezab reveals. “What is important is how you interact and serve them”.

And looking at the statistics below, we can see that Orange Polska have been doing much more than just listening to their fans; they are fully engaged with their audience and make it their number one duty to answer all of their fans on the Facebook page. Within the Orange communications team based in Warsaw, this 5th place is seen as recognition for all the efforts put in building a strong relationship with their customers, and is a further incentive to try and move up the rankings next year!
