Up until now participants have only been able to collect points through individual challenges, both by creating their own avatars, through simple games of skill, and also by taking on challenges which appear on the website every few days. You just had to quickly tap the keyboard to gain points in the competition by stamping your feet or supporting your team loudly.
Now it’s time to compete against each other to get more in the spirit of the European Championships. In the Guitar Challenge you can play directly against other players! The game is simple and very similar to the Guitar Hero game, with the exception being that you don’t need a guitar to play, just a computer keyboard. You use the 1, 2, 3 and 4 keys to play, with each key controlling one string on the virtual guitar. You have to hit them at the right time, and you also get additional points for playing well, so it’s worth being accurate.
Every victory is worth 3,000 points, and you can collect points by playing up to five times a day. Therefore, you can add as many as 15,000 points to your account in one day!
The difficulty level of the game is very high so it’s a good idea to play on the practice mode at first, which is available all day with no limits. Of course there won’t be any points allocated for this.
Remember to keep playing regularly. On April 26, a further two new challenges will become available which will give you the opportunity to collect more points.
The Supporters’ Cup competition is for soccer fans from 11 European countries (and not just for our customers) where Orange is a sponsor of UEFA EURO 2012, namely Armenia, Austria, France, Luxembourg, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland and the UK. All you need to do is set up a team and invite up to 10 friends to play. There are 22 tickets for UEFA EURO 2012 matches, mobile phones and Orange gadgets up for grabs. The winners will travel on a special ‘VIP bus’ to the opening game and the final of UEFA EURO 2012!
