Two years after the first episode, The Expendables are back for a rather simple mission : kill all the enemies and avenge their partner. After seeing the trailer on Orange Wednesdays, I thought I’d share it with you.
You will have understood, Simon West’s latest action flick will not be revolutionizing the action genre any time soon. In The Expendables 2, it’s all about fighting, explosions, more fighting, vengeance and, you’ll have guessed it, still more fighting. And to make sure the fight scenes are top notch throughout this 1 hour and 42 minutes-long massacre, the producers have once again called upon the biggest stars of the 1990’s action scene : Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren and Jet Li are back for more in this sequel which holds a few surprises.
As you’ll be able to see in the following trailer, two ultimate legends of martial arts movies from the last century will be making their debut in this blockbuster franchise : Jean-Claude Van Damme and Chuck Norris ! With these latest additions, the team is ready to rock in this new adventure which should keep you on the edge of your seats… Lock and load !
