Last week, Céline Louis shared with you a compilation of ten original Tour de France illustrations and a certain Matt used the comment section to let us know about his charity project, which revolves around the Tour, and particularly the current yellow jersey Bradley Wiggins.
Following his impressive start to the season, with wins in the Paris-Nice, the Tour of Romandie and the Dauphiné Libéré, the British rider arrived in France at the beginning of July as a firm favourite for the final win in Paris. And in order to prove their support to the Sky Team leader and raise money for charity at the same time, a group of keen cyclists and designers set up the Allez Wiggo ! project.
The concept is fairly straightforward : the team is selling T-shirts and posters showing support for Bradley Wiggins, and all the proceeds are going towards a charity : the Young Oncology Unit at Christies’ Hospital. You want to do your part in the struggle against cancer and show your support to Bradley Wiggins all at the same time ? Get yourself a T-shirt and keep up the fight !
