How much must one pay you to camp during 4 days in the cold streets of San Francisco in front of an Apple store ahead of a major product launch?
For this friendly guy we met in front of the Apple store on Stockton Street, $1500 was the “sweep spot”. Indeed he right away accepted the offer made by a Taskrabbit user who’s obviously sort of an Apple “fan”. From the word fanatism. A guy ready to get 1 iPhone 5 for the price of 3, just to be the first to enter the store when the iPhone 5 is launched.
See the video I shot today with @alexd :
Everyone from the #blogbus tour just ran into him around 9pm as we were heading to our dinner after an amazing day here in Silicon Valley and San Francisco. The client of this fellow Taskrabbit user could probably be the Taskrabbit team itself… but who knows, in this city I’ve learned to understand that everything was possible!
PS : After seeing that, Gang Lu, our Chinese contributor, couldn’t help joining the queue with the rest of the campers. As you can see on the picture, he’s already made new friends!
Good Luck Gang!
