This year, Orange decided to use its greeting card to support its Foundation’s digital solidarity project.
As you can see below, the geek-factor of the Orange greeting card is off the charts thanks to its integrated flashcode !
More than just a pretty greeting card for geeks, this flashcode is absolutely functional.
In fact, by scanning this flashcode, I’m supporting the Orange Foundation’s digital solidarity project. The basic principle is extremely simple:
- I scan the flashcode with my smartphone (if you don’t have a flashcode reader on your mobile phone, enter tc3.fr in your web browser to download one free of charge)
- 1 scan = €1! Every time I scan the flashcode, €1 automatically goes to the Orange Foundation’s digital solidarity project, which provides assistance to various associations.
- As soon as I scan the code, I can immediately see the total amount of donations made thanks to a meter updated in real time.
- The objective is for the Foundation to reach a sum of €100,000. Once that result is achieved, your mobile phone will show this display instead of the one of the meter image:
On your marks, get set, scan!
And don’t forget to send your greetings with the Orange card. It’s so easy. All you have to do is save the image of the holiday greeting card found at the top of this article on to your computer and insert it in the body of your e-mail. Add your personal comments and you’re done! In this way, you’ll be showing friends and family that you’re thinking about them and all of you will be doing a good deed since they will then scan the flashcode… and if they send a greeting card too, imagine the beautiful linked network of solidarity that we can help to create
